ISU Design West Announces Design It! Workshops 2011-2012

Design It! Workshops

ISU Design West will host Design It!, a series of four workshops (two in fall, two in spring) for high school juniors and seniors interesting in exploring community design challenges related to architecture, urban planning, graphic design, interior design and landscape architecture.

Students will work in teams on possible design solutions in a charrette process. At the end of each workshop, they will pin up their designs for a critique session with instructors, area designers and community leaders.

Workshop Dates
Workshops will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays, Oct. 8 and Nov. 12, 2011, and March 10 and April 14, 2012. Cost is $10 per session. Lunch will be provided.

Registration
Please register by Oct. 1, 2011, for the October and November workshops, and by March 1 for the March and April workshops. Make checks payable to Iowa State University. Payment must accompany registration form. There will be no refunds.
