Kids cook while you shop! Kids a Cookin' offered in December

Are you looking for a great activity for your kids while you shop? Kids a Cookin’ classes will be held Mondays December 1, 8, 15, and 22 from 5:30-7 p.m. at Iowa State University (ISU) Extension-Woodbury County, 4301 Sergeant Road #209, Sioux City. The four-session class is designed for youth in grades fifth through eighth and is free of charge.

Fall Master Gardener class graduates 18

Iowa State University (ISU) Extension-Woodbury County graduated 18 from their fall master gardener class during their awards and graduation ceremony Tuesday, Nov. 11 in Sioux City.

4-H Shooting Sports club quarterly meeting scheduled

The 4-H Shooting Sports program will have its next quarterly meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. at the Le Mars Sportsman’s Club. The event will be hosted by Iowa State University (ISU) Extension in Plymouth County. Kyle Schlesser will be the guest speaker presenting about his taxidermy business.

2009 Siouxland Garden Show

The 2009 Siouxland Garden Show will be held Friday, March 20 and Saturday, March 21, 2009, at the Marina Center in South Sioux City, Neb. The show will include educational exhibits, presentations, how-to sessions and commercial exhibitors.
