Get on board for the last “Farm to Fork” culinary tours of the season hosted by Iowa State University (ISU) Extension and Outreach, Flavors of Northwest Iowa. Tour places near Remsen, Akron, Merrill and Hinton Aug. 21. Tour places near Sheldon, Sanborn and Inwood on Sept. 4.

Ash trees around Siouxland are dropping their leaves. The leaf drop is likely due to anthracnose.  Anthracnose is a common fungal disease of trees in Iowa. Woodbury County Extension office has received numerous calls this week from all over Siouxland about the problem.

The three weekly sessions will be offered at ISU Extension - Woodbury County, 4301 Sergeant Rd. #209, Sioux City, beginning Thursday, September 11.
