Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, with the help of the Rising Star Interns, is proud to present an all-day camp for children! Your child will grow their gardening knowledge, cooking skills and enthusiasm for healthy living by learning garden basics in our teaching garden, exploring healthy food choices and preparing their own snacks and lunches, and participating in fitness activities with local high school star athletes. We will also be teaching children how to make their own drawstring bag and superhero mask. While the camp is planned in part by Woodbury County 4-H, it is open to all children who have completed kindergarten through third grade, not just 4-H’ers!
