According to Forbes.com, the #1 reason companies make bad hires is that they compromise, they settle, they don’t hire the best person for the job. This seems obvious, but the truth is that businesses often rush the hiring and onboarding processes. This session will examine best practices and common pitfalls arising during the hiring process and the potential legal liabilities that may accompany a sloppy hire—from job postings, to interviews, to ranking candidates.
