We're looking for a Youth Worker for our Midtown location to help us develop and provide school enrichment programming and afterschool 4-H, assist with recruitment of volunteers and youth, coordinate shooting sports events for Woodbury County and assist with county non-school day and summer camps.

Gardeners have the opportunity this summer to learn about theme gardens, planting trough gardens, water features and conservation, attracting butterflies and bees, and growing herbs. The Iowa State University (ISU) Extension and Outreach “Growing Season” webinar series will be offered at the ISU Extension and Outreach – Woodbury County offices on June 23, July 21 and August 11.

The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship has announced an order to cancel all live bird exhibitions at county fairs, the Iowa State Fair, and other gatherings of birds due to avian influenza.
