Winneshiek County 4-H/FFA Members Receive Scholarship

This year Winneshiek County 4-H was pleased to offer 16 scholarships to Winneshiek County 4-H/FFA members. These members were announced during the 2012 Winneshiek County 4-H/FFA Livestock Auction on July 14th. Recipients submitted an application and were chosen to participate in an interview. Based on their character, academics, and service to the community these young adults have been awarded a Winneshiek County 4-H/FFA Scholarship to be used towards college expenses.

Members receiving 4-H/FFA Scholarships include Dustin Bigler, Ashley Bushman, Shelby Cornelius, Joy Drow, Laura Francois, Garrett Hackman, Kelley Hauber, Kilah Hemesath, Anthony Henry, Jackie Hoyme, Megan Lien, Andrew Luzum, Adam Sacquitne, Gayge Samuelson, Jordan Tietz, & Colin Zidlicky. They were each awarded a $250 scholarship which is renewable after their first year of college. The total scholarship package is $500 over two years.
