Ossian Summer Kids Club offers "Fizz, Bubble & Goo:, a "Cook This Challenge" & a chance to explore "Our Area Outdoors" for kids who have completed K-3rd grade.  A one day camp will be offered for kids in grades 4-6 entitled "World in Motion.  Registration ends May 27.

The Annual Spring Field Day at the ISU Northeast Research and Demonstration Farm will run from 1:00 to 4:15 p.m. on June 24.  The program will start with Elwynn Taylor, ISU Extension Climatologist, followed by Matt Liebman, ISU Agronomist, then Antonio Mallarino, ISU Extension Soil Fertility Specialist, and Matt Helmers.  The field day is free and open to the public.

The Iowa Cattlemen’s Association is holding pasture walks in mid-June, giving cow-calf producers an opportunity to hear from experts on brush management and maximizing feeder calf value. The Eric Smith family of Decorah will be hosting one of the walks on June 16.
