A 4-H Shooting Sports Club has begun in Winnebago County. All interested youth in grade 4-12 are invited to join.  Archery, rifle (air rifle at this time) and shotgun will be offered by eight volunteers who have been trained and certified.  The Shooting Sports club will meet once a month.  A parent is required to attend with all participants under high school age.

4-H Shooting Sports is a youth development educational program that uses the skills and disciplines of the sport to assist young people and their leaders in obtaining knowledge and developing skills.  Dispiplines include archery, shotgun and rifle.  Shooting sports appeals to young people and volunteers from a wide range of rural and urban backgrounds.
