A cover crop spring management workshop is scheduled to be held March 3rd at the Armstrong Research Farm near Lewis, IA.

Come and welcome spring at the West Pottawattamie Master Gardener’s Spring Conference. The Iowa State University Extension Master Gardeners of West Pottawattamie County will hold the event at the Council Bluffs Senior Center, Saturday, March 26, 2016 from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Cost is $35 if registered by March 18th or $45.00 if coming the day of the event and both include lunch and refreshments.  More information about each workshop will be released at a later time.

Commercial Pesticide Applicator CIC programs for 2016 have been released.  All CIC classes will be held at the West Pottawattamie Extension Office, 1705 McPherson Avenue, Council Bluffs, IA 51503.  Registrations are due one week prior to the event.

Master Gardeners of West Pottawattamie County offer $50.00 grants to classroom teachers to help provide horticulture education to Pottawattamie County students.  The grant will be used to purchase materials and related supplies for your classroom’s horticulture plans.
