The Family Foundation Project is a  five year,state and federally funded initiative to work with unmarried new parents who want to form stable families in which to raise their child.  A unique feature of the project is that it begins by involving "expert" couples from urban communities.  Project Goals: to encourage stable family formation among new unmarried parents , to promote healthy and successful marriages among unmarried couples who desire it, it encourage responsible fathering, to promote the economic and psychosocial well being of childre, to promote paternity establishment and child support, and to encourage community suport for marriage and family formation.
