Become an Iowa Master Gardener by completing the core training course this fall at the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach West Pottawattamie County office at 1705 McPherson Ave, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Gardeners will learn best practices for choosing plants, designing gardens, and managing pests. Classes start in September.
Those interested in applying for the course can contact their West Pottawattamie County Extension office. Application deadline is August 14, 2015, as space is limited. Accepted participants will be notified by September 4, 2015. The three-month course fee is $195.00. Call 712-366-7070, email rsummy@iastate.edu for registration form or print your own.
