Fall is the season for health insurance plan enrollment. Health insurance helps individuals and families get access to care leading to better health and reduces the risk of high health care costs.
Smart Choice Health Insurance Basics will be held on Tuesday, December 15 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the ISU Extension and Outreach office of West Pottawattamie County, 1705 McPherson Ave., in Council Bluffs. The workshop is free; registration is requested. Call 712-366-7070.

West Pottawattamie County will host a Pest Control Operators Continuing Instructional Course (CIC) for commercial pesticide applicators Wednesday, December 2, 2015. The program is offered at office locations across Iowa through the ISU Extension and Outreach Pesticide Safety Education Program (PSEP).
