Juntos: Together for a Better Education, is a 6-week series of workshops designed for families with 7th, 8th, 9th, or 10th grade students. The goal is to have family work together to help youth succeed in school, and to discover paths to higher education. The program will be held on Thursdays, starting October 1 through November 12, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Council Bluffs Public Library, 400 Willow Ave., Council Bluffs.

Learn safe, research-based methods for making Jams and Dehydrating Foods.This workshop is part of Preserve the Taste of Summer, a new food preservation program offered by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach.
