All 9th-12th graders are invited to apply for one of three spots for the Region 17 Youth Leadership Council.  Applications due to the West Pottawattamie Extension Office by Monday, October 17th.

Youth in grades 7-12 are invited to the Iowa State University Beef Blast in Ames on December 3rd.

Club members - don't forget to be working on your record books.  Make sure to check with your club leader for exact due dates.  The record book awards banquet will be held on Thursday, November 10th at 6:00 p.m. at Iowa School for the Deaf.

Commercial Pesticide Applicator CIC programs for 2016 have been released.  All CIC classes will be held at the West Pottawattamie Extension Office, 1705 McPherson Avenue, Council Bluffs, IA 51503.  Registrations are due one week prior to the event.

Start with an idea: grow fresh produce for donation to food pantries. Mix together ISU Extension and Outreach nutrition education, Master Gardeners and ISU Research and Demonstration Farms. The goal: More than 10,000 pounds of food for Iowans in need.
