Twilight Vegetable Farm Tour

Iowa State University  Webster County Extension and Outreach will be hosting a Fort Dodge Twilight Vegetable Farm Tour on  Monday June 22nd, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the office (217 South 25th St., Ste. C12, Fort Dodge).  Joe Hannon, ISU Extension & Outreach Commercial Horticulture Specialist, will introduce himself, his services, and review the 2015 production season thus far.  We will then proceed to a local vegetable farm to tour.

Have you ever wanted to know how to preserve and cook with your own home-grown herbs?  Have you had questions about where to plant, how much sun, how much water, and fertilizer for your herbs to make them thrive?  Join Holly VanHeel, ISU Extension & Outreach Human Sciences Program Specialist and a local Master Gardener, on Thursday, July 16th, for an evening of recipes, snacks and great information!
