This scholarship program is open to high school seniors that are actively involved in the Webster County 4-H Horse Project who wish to continue their education in a two-year college, four-year college, or trade school.

 

The number and amount of scholarships given will depend on the amount of funds available each year.

The Webster County 4-H Horse Project will arrange direct payment upon Registrar’s official notification of student’s enrollment.

Winner's Circle Scholarships

College-bound Iowa youth active in 4-H and/or FFA livestock and agricultural projects and current undergraduate students may apply for scholarships available from the Iowa Foundation for Agricultural Advancement (IFAA).   The scholarships are available to freshmen entering any Iowa two or four-year, post-secondary institution this fall as well as current undergraduates attending Iowa State University. Applicants must major in animal science or a curriculum in agriculture or human sciences that is related to the agriculture industry. Winners will be announced during the 2013 Iowa State Fair’s annual 4-H/FFA Sale of Champions on Saturday, August 17, an event sponsored by IFAA. IFAA scholarship funds come from a percentage of Sale of Champions proceeds as well as Winner’s Circle Club donations.

 

JUNIOR CAMP

Webster, Hamilton, Franklin, Humboldt, Hardin and Wright counties are providing jr. camp for 4-H’ers in 4^th,5^thand 6^thgrades.  Cost is $65 for Webster County 4-H’ers thanks to the Webster County 4-H Foundation.

Meet new friends, go on a creekwalk, night hike, and experience camping in its finest!  Even though registrations are due May 20, camp numbers are limited per county, so please send in your registration to the Webster County Extension Office as soon as you are interested.  Click here for a registration form.
