Description : With the uncertainty of the 2013 and 2014 crop yields and prices, a review of the Average Crop Revenue Election (ACRE)Program will be held on Tuesday, April 9th at the Webster County Extension office in Fort Dodge. The two-hour program will begin at 9:00 a.m. with Kelvin Leibold, ISU Extension Farm and Ag Business Management Specialist, and Gary Yoch, Humboldt County Farm Service Agency (FSA) Executive Director, presenting background information and possible cropping scenarios to assist producers in making federal program decisions. ACRE provides immediate term protection against the risk of falling revenues from crop production, in exchange for reduced direct program crop payments.
