The Nifty Newark 4-H Club held their monthly meeting on June 8, 2008, at the Badger Fire Station. The Vice-President, Aaron Martin, called the meeting to order with nine members and two leaders answering roll call. The Secretary’s report was read by Jenna Schild; the Treasurer’s report was given by Derek Hammitt. Meeting Minutes - 04/13/08
The Nifty Newark 4-H club held their monthly meeting on April 13, 2008. The club meeting was held at Tjaden Electric in Badger. The meeting was called to order by President, Julie Schild. Twelve members and two leaders answered roll call. The Secretary’s report was read by Jenna Schild; the treasurer’s report read by Derek Hammitt. Old Business discussed was the club picture. New Business included the next club meeting and location of the meeting. Livestock enrollments were also discussed. Jordan Schild presented an educational presentation on “Rockets” with Madison Bodholdt presenting on Fort Dodge, Iowa. The hostess for the meeting was Rachael Sprangler. Meeting Minutes - 12/09/07
The Nifty Newark 4-H Club went Christmas caroling at USA HealthCare on December 9, 2007. 13 members were present. We had a lot of fun Christmas caroling, singing songs such as Silent Night, Here comes Santa Claus, Up on the Housetop, Jingle Bells, We Wish you a Merry Christmas, Deck the Halls, and Joy to the World. The elderly liked the songs that we sang. After caroling, a pizza party was held at Godfather’s. We also had a gift exchange. We had a fun time. Jenna Schild—Club reporter.
Meeting Minutes - 01/13/08
The Nifty Newark 4-H Club met on Sunday, January 13, 2008 at the Badger Fire Station. The meeting began by the Pledge of Allegiance let by Jenna Schild and the 4-H Pledge led by Angela Bryan. An educational presentation was made by Derek Hammit. The Group discussed new business and old business for the club. The meeting was attended by 15 members and no visitors were present.
