Meeting Minutes - 04/06/08
The Gowrie Groundbreakers meeting was held at the Gowrie Fire Department, on April 6, 2008. The meeting was called to order by our President Make Bauer. Roll Call was by the secretary, Mariah Welter. Pledge of Allegiance/ 4-H Pledge was led by Travis Goodale, Alexa Anderson, and Dylan Anderson. The presentations where by Travis Goodale on rabbits, Alexa Anderson did hers on horses, and Dylan Anderson did his on goats. Derek Seil shared information about the Omaha zoo trip experience. We are going to work at the Gowrie Book and Bake sale in June. The recreation was led by Trevor Kalahar, Marshmallow baseball. Submitted by Liz Welter

The Gowrie Groundbreakers meeting was held at the Gowrie Fire Department, on March 2, 2008. The meeting was called to order by our President Make Bauer. Roll Call was by the secretary, Mariah Welter. Pledge of Allegiance/ 4-H Pledge was led by Justin Alphs, who also gave a presentation on his hobbies, his favorite being pigs. The new business was FSQA meeting 20th and 24th of March, make Easter basket for Jamboree foods. March 28 and 29 is Omaha zoo trip. The recreation led by Jaclyn the Balloon Game. The Gowrie Groundbreakers meeting was held at the Gowrie Fire Department, on February 3, 2008. The meeting was called to order by our President Mark Bauer. Roll Call was by the secretary, Mariah Welter. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mark Bauer, so was the 4-H Pledge. The Host, Make Bauer, gave a presentation on Jazz Band. The old business is we talked about County Interviews and Officer Training Materials. New Business: Talked about member fee, record keeping, Sign up for 4-H food stand. Meeting Minutes - 01/06/08
The Gowrie Groundbreakers 4-H club meeting was held on January 6th, 2008 at the Gowrie Fire Department at 3:00 P.M. the meeting was call to order by Mark Bauer, the pledge was led by Trevor Kalahar, Liz Welter and Mariah Welter. The secretary report was read by Mariah Welter, treasurers’ report was read by Hannah Carlson. Old Business was enrollment fees and dues. The group also discussed upcoming County interviews and signed up for Committees. Our standing committees are Community Service, Recreation, Book, Bake and Potluck, County Fair Booth and National 4-H week. Presentations were given by Alex Alliger on open shows for cattle, Trevor Kalahar on a famous stud horse, Mariah Welter on how to put eye make up on, and Liz Welter on photography. Hosts for the meeting were Trevor Kalahar, Mariah Welter, and Liz Welter. Our guest speaker was Susan Rhodene with Catholic Social Services. She came to talk to us about stress. Our next meeting will be held February 3rd at 3:00 pm.
