Webster County 4-H Foundation

CloversThe purpose of the Webster County 4-H Foundation is to support, promote and assist in the education and development of 4-H members in Webster County by recognizing achievement and encouraging participation in worth-while 4-H experiences and activities.

The Webster County 4-H Foundation supports 4-H in many ways:

  • Financial support for out-of-county events such as State 4-H Conference, Jr. Camp, Leadership Conference, Chicago Award Trip, State Animal Science Roundup, Citizen Washington Focus Trip and Intermediate Camp.
  • Support for 4-H Awards Banquet, 4-H Leaders Recognition Banquet, State and Regional Leaders Forums and 4-H County Project Awards.
  • Parade of Champions and Dinner of Champions at the Webster County Fair.
  • Support for Webster County Fair Premiums.
  • 4-H Scholarships for deserving senior members.
  • Clover Kids

A six-member Board of Directors currently consists of:  Sid Bodholdt, Chairman; Jamie Killian, Treasurer; Mary Peterson, member; Gina Schultz, member; Denny Amman, member; and John Dencklau, member. 

They solicit financial support; review programs & activities; and oversee an annual budget with advice from the Extension Staff, the County 4-H and Youth Committee and the County Extension Council. 

The Webster County 4-H Foundation is recognized as a non-profit corporation and donations are tax deductible.  You may make a donation payable to the Webster County 4-H Foundation and mail to the Webster County Extension Office, 108 South 8th Street, Fort Dodge, IA 50501-4680.  For any questions or comments, please contact Linda Cline at 515-576-2119 or lcline@iastate.edu.
