The Elkhorn Earlybirds met on April 13, 2008 at the Callendar Library. The meeting was called to order by the vice president, Allie Lansman. Roll call was answered by 10 members, 1 leader, and 5 guests. The secretary’s report was given by Mrs. Kastendieck, and the treasurer’s report was given by Katie Jaeschke. The leader’s report was about Conference in June. In old business, they discussed the Cultural Fair and the Omaha Zoo. The new business that was discussed was the Conference in June. The educational presentations were given by Katie Jaeschke (donuts), Hannah Peterson (cheer), and Abby Peterson (Sound of Music). The Elkhorn Earlybirds met on February 10, 2008, at the Prairie Valley High School. The meeting was called to order by the leader, Mrs. Kastendieck. Roll call was answered by ten members and ten guests. The secretary’s report was given by Mrs. Kastendieck. The treasurer’s report was not given. They discussed Cultural Fair (Chicken Dance), Fuller Hall (February 24), Photo Camp, June 18-20), and other dates. They also discussed the fair theme. The Elkhorn Earlybirds 4-H Club held their regular monthly meeting on January 6, 2008 at their Leader’s Shop. The meeting was called to order by the Club Vice-President. . Roll call was answered by 11 members, 1 leader and 4 guests. The Treasury Report was given by Club Treasurer, Teah Kastendieck. The Club Leader, Tina Kastendieck informed the group about upcoming Interviews and Fuller Hall. Members discussed Spa Day and they also were informed about upcoming events. Educational presentations were given by: Rachel Rethwisch—CD animals, Savannah Benson—Cat, and Teah Kastendieck—Caucus. Hostesses were Savannah Benson, Teah Kastendieck, and Rachel Rethwisch.
