“Writing Your Retirement Paycheck” is designed to provide information needed by those approaching retirement within the next ten years.
Strengthening Families Program is for all parents and youth in 6th grade for the Fort Dodge community schools. This is a fun and effective prevention program aimed to reduce youth problem behaviors, involves parent and middle school youth to enhance parenting skills and strengthen families. To join our upcoming October classes you can complete and submit this online registration form, OR, complete the paper registration form and send to email@example.com or to Webster County Extension and Outreach, 217 South 25th Street, Fort Dodge, IA.
The Smart Choice Health Insurance Workshop will include a review of key insurance terms and concepts and an examination of bronze, silver, gold, and platinum plans. Participants will build information and skills for choosing a health insurance policy that fits their needs. The workshop will also describe how cost assistance works using Premium Tax Credits, who might be eligible for free insurance, and where to get help with enrolling. The Family Nutrition Program (FNP) is a FREE program available to families in Webster County to help parents provide nutritious food for their families, leading to healthy children and strong families. Family Nutrition Program (FNP) staff work with pregnant teens, families with young children and youth. Program staff meet with participants one-on-one and in small groups. Lessons are selected depending on the needs and wants of the participants. The lessons include activities, worksheets, games, and cooking. The Webster Co. 4-H Horse Project will be having their Fall Tack Auction on Sunday, November 16, at the Webster County Fairgrounds beginning at 1:00 p.m. Bring your own tack to sell or donate to the Webster County 4-H Horse Project.
