Webster County 4-H members may apply for the Webster County Youth Grant Program, which is an outgrowth of the Iowa Promise Grant due to the discontinuation of the Promise Grant Program after 2009.  The Promise Grant was originally established in result of the 1998 Iowa Summit Initiative and its emphasis on youth and community service.

Citizenship Washington Focus

WANTED:  4-H members currently in 10th - 12th grades.  We have the trip you have been waiting for - the 2016 Citizenship Washington Focus trip!  Webster, Hamilton, Humboldt, Hardin & Wright counties team up for this one in a lifetime trip to the National 4-H Center in Chevy Chase, Maryland.  This is an outstanding opportunity and a great way to meet new friends from across the country.

You and your parents are invited to attend the Strengthening Families Program.  It's fun & free!  Evening meals are provided and free child care is provided for younger siblings.  Students receive $3 each week they attend.  This program has been successful over the past 10 years with more than 900 families participating from the Fort Dodge area.
