Your Money, Your Future Course Begins November 12
Life is not about money — but how people manage their money impacts their quality of life, their family’s lifeand the life of their community. A new course from Iowa State University Extension and Outreach provides the tools Iowans need to work toward financial goals.
“Your Money, Your Future begins Monday November 12,” said Barb Wollan, Extension Family Finance Specialist. “In this three-part course you’ll learn how to make your money work for you.”
The course covers how to understand spending, use financial management resources and build personal financial management skills. It is sponsored by ISU Extension and Outreach in Humboldt County and the Fort Dodge Community Foundation and United Way.
The course meets Mondays November 12, 19, and 26. All sessions are from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at the YWCA, 826 1st Ave N, Fort Dodge. The course is FREE, and child care is also provided. Please pre-register by November 9 – sign up by calling Webster County Extension, 576-2119.
