Free IRS-approved income tax assistance is available for those that have income below $42,000.  This assistance is available through VITA, sponsored by Welcome, We Help, Inc., ISU Extension and Iowans for Social and Economic Development.  Help is available Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 to 11 a.m.  Call the Wayne County Extension office at 641-872-1755 to schedule your appointment. 

The appointments are held at the Welcome, We Help, Inc. building at 300 S Franklin Street in Corydon.  This is located 1 1/2 blocks south of the Napa store on the south side of the Corydon square.
