Brighton youth get ready for summer recreation!  Are you looking for a day of fun and hands-on activities?  Look no further!  The City of Brighton and Brighton Chamber of Commerce are sponsoring another year of summer day camps for Brighton area youth who have completed K  – 3rd grades.

Washington County Extension will host their annual Farm Safety Day on Thursday, June 2,  9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at the Washington County Fairgrounds.  The cost is $10 per child this includes t-shirt, goody bag, snacks, and safety information.   All youth who have completed K-3 grades are encouraged to attend.  Parents are welcome to attend as well.  Youth will need to bring a sack lunch.  Registration form.

All 4-H members wanting to exhibit livestock at the 2016 Washington County Fair must have their animals entered into their personal 4hOnline accounts by May 5, 11:59 p.m.  All market animals that attend weigh-ins will be entered by 4-H staff, however, all other animals with the exception of poultry must be entered by the 4-H member.

The Washington County Extension Office announces their Clover University summer day camp dates and topics.   Registration forms will be sent through the schools the week of May 2 and are due June 1.  No registrations will be accepted until May 2.  Please save the dates now to be involved.

All market lambs, feeder lambs, meat goats & dairy wethers must be weighed and tagged, and all commercial ewe lambs & meat goat does must be tagged on Saturday, May 7 to be eligible to be shown at the Washington County Fair.
