The Fairgrounds Association recently received another donation for their building project. The Washington Y’s Men Club made their third donation to the project, this one for $1,000. Club president Bob Bauer said the donation was from money made at their food stand at the Washington County Fair. “Our food stand during the week of the fair is our major fundraiser to support our projects and programs at the “Y”, said Bauer. “Without the county fair, 4-H and Extension we wouldn’t have a food stand and couldn’t do what we do,” he added.
