The Washington County 4-H Program will be having an Award Family Fun Night on Saturday, November 14th, 5:30 p.m. at the Washington County Fairgrounds. All Washington County 4-H’ers and family members, along with leaders, are invited and encouraged to attend.

Share-A-Calf Applications Due

The Washington County Cattlemen are once again organizing a share-a-calf program. Local cattlemen agree to provide market beef animals to 4-H/FFA members.

A national animal identification system is necessary to help protect American animal agriculture from disease threats. The ability to find potentially sick or exposed animals early in a disease outbreak is essential to controlling the outbreak quickly.
