All market lambs, feeder lambs, meat goats & dairy wethers must be weighed and tagged, and all commercial ewe lambs & meat goat does must be tagged on Saturday, May 7 to be eligible to be shown at the Washington County Fair.

Brighton youth get ready for summer recreation!  Are you looking for a day of fun and hands-on activities?  Look no further!  The City of Brighton and Brighton Chamber of Commerce are sponsoring another year of summer day camps for Brighton area youth who have completed K  – 3rd grades.

Washington County Extension will host their annual Farm Safety Day on Thursday, June 2,  9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at the Washington County Fairgrounds.  The cost is $10 per child this includes t-shirt, goody bag, snacks, and safety information.   All youth who have completed K-3 grades are encouraged to attend.  Parents are welcome to attend as well.  Youth will need to bring a sack lunch.  Registration form.

The Washington County Extension Office announces their Clover University summer day camp dates and topics.   Registration forms will be sent through the schools the week of May 2 and are due June 1.  No registrations will be accepted until May 2.  Please save the dates now to be involved.

Washington County Master Gardeners will hold a plant sale on Saturday, May 14, at the Washington County Fairgrounds from 8:00 a.m. until items are sold out.  The plant sale will be held at the historic Palmer Polygonal Barn.
