05/17/2008- Master Gardener Plant Sale
Washington County Master Gardeners will hold a plant sale on Saturday, May 17, from 8:00 a.m. to noon at the Washington County Fairgrounds.

05/19/2008- Extension Council Meeting
Regularly scheduled monthly meeting of the Extension Council

05/20/2008- PQA Plus(TM) Certification Training
A two hour training session for pork producers or individuals who need Pork Quality Assurance, aska PQA Plus(TM) certification.

05/22/2008- Family Child Care Rating System
Providers must attend all 4 sessions Free to Washington providers- $20 for out of county participants Trainers: Mary Crooks & Kristi Cooper ISU Extension Specialists

05/27/2008- Master Gardener Meeting
Regular meeting of the Washington County Master Gardeners. The group will tour Jan Martin's garden.

06/03/2008- Pressure Canner Testing
Testing of Dial Gauge Pressure canners to insure safety of use and operation. Canner lid only needs to be taken to County Extension Office. The lid may be dropped off prior to the test date and picked up following the date if this is more convenient for owner.
