Directions

Coming from the north:

• Follow highway #1 south into Keosauqua. Stay on Highway #1 into Keosauqua, you will come to the courthouse up on the hill on your right. Take a left-hand turn and come down to the stop sign proceed through stop sign going down the hill. We are located in a large old creamery building near the end of the second block, on your left.

Coming from the west on Highway #2:

• At the intersection of Highway #1 and 2, take a left and follow Highway #1 North, into Keosauqua, about 4 miles. You will cross the Des Moines River and enter Keosauqua. Turn right at the start of the business district. Proceed on the 1-way street for 3 blocks. At the start of the 4th block, turn left. We are the large old creamery building on your right.

Coming from the east on Highway #2:

•  At the intersection of Highway #1 and 2, take a left and follow Highway #1 North, into Keosauqua, about 4 miles. You will cross the Des Moines River and enter Keosauqua. Turn right at the start of the business district. Proceed on the 1-way street for 3 blocks. At the start of the 4th block, turn left. We are the large old creamery building on your right.

Coming from the south on Highway #1.

•  You will cross the Des Moines River and enter Keosauqua. Turn right at the start of the business district. Proceed on the 1-way street for 3 blocks. At the start of the 4th block, turn left. We are the large old creamery building on your right.

Coming from the east on J-40.

• Proceed east on J-40 until you come to intersection of J-40 and Highway #1, turn right at this intersection and drive north into Keosauqua. You will cross the Des Moines River. Turn right at the start of the business district. Proceed on the 1-way street for 3 blocks. At the start of the 4th block, turn left. We are the large old creamery building on your right.

Coming from the west on J-40.

•  You will come to a stop sign at the 4-way intersection. The hospital will be on the diagonal across from the stop sign. Turn right on Highway #1. Stay on Highway #1, you will come to the courthouse up on the hill on your right. Take a left-hand turn and come down to the stop sign, proceed through stop sign going down the hill. We are located in a large old creamery building near the end of the second block, on your left.

Coming from the river:

• Experience the tranquility on the scenic Des Moines river as it lazily meanders through the historic Villages of Van Buren. As you round the “Great Bend” in Keosauqua, you will see Hotel Manning, which resembles the steamboats of yesteryear. Arrive at the boat dock. Go up the hill 1 block to the old Creamery Building.

Coming from the air:

• You will land at the Keosauqua Municipal Airport. Take the road to the south end of the bridge. Turn right and you will cross the Des Moines River bridge. Turn right at the start of the business district. Proceed on the 1-way street for 3 blocks. At the start of the 4th block, turn left. We are the large old creamery building on your right.
