Title: Program Coordinator

Area of Expertise: Craig Tordsen is an Iowa State University (ISU), Value-Added Agriculture Extension project coordinator providing clients with feasibility studies and business plan support. He has 35 years of experience in industry, agricultural finance, and farm management. Tordsen works with producer groups starting up value-added agricultural businesses and conducts market research, feasibility studies, business plans, and other key components for business start-up and expansion. He has most recently completed feasibility studies for a soybean food company, a winery cooperative, a beef processing plant, a short line farm machinery manufacturer, a seed company producing eco-type flower and grass seed, a company producing a unique fertilizer product, several ethanol companies, and a firm creating a soybean adhesive for use in plywood manufacturing.

Additional Biographical Information:

Tordsen has a M.S. in Agriculture from ISU and an accounting degree from Southwest Minnesota State College.  He is a member of the Gamma Sigma Delta Honor Society of Agriculture. He is an ISO 9000-9001 Certified Quality Auditor and a Certified Instructor of the Nxlevel program for Agricultural Entrepreneurs.
