Lynn Jones

Title: International Coordinator

Area of Expertise: Lynn Jones is International Coordinator for the Value-Added Agriculture program at Iowa State University (ISU) in Ames. He assists both domestic and international partners including government and nongovernment organizations, universities and industries with their involvement in development or revitalization of Agricultural Education and Extension-type programs. He has worked either directly or in conjunction with his doctoral students in well over 30 countries on six continents over the past 36 years. He has extensive experience inclusive of adult educational program design, curriculum development, evaluation and accountability systems and grants development.

Additional Biographical Information:

Prior to his current position, Jones, who is Professor Emeritus of Agricultural Education at ISU, taught and advised graduate students for a number of years. He holds a Ph.D. in Adult Learning Systems and has taught Extension Administrative Management, Accountability and Evaluation, Philosophy and Policymaking, and Technology Transfer.  In Extension he has been responsible at the field level with direct program delivery, at the district level with supervision of faculty and at the state level with program leadership and accountability.
