Title: Communications Specialist

Area of Expertise: Christa Hartsook is the communications specialist for AgMRC and Iowa State University Extension Value-Added Agriculture Program. Hartsook is responsible for the web sites, press releases, presentations and displays and general communications and promotions.

Additional Biographical Information: Hartsook received her B.S. degree in journalism from Iowa State University. Prior to joining AgMRC, Hartsook was employed for four years as the communications director for the Iowa Cattlemen's Association, communicating with producers through a monthly magazine, weekly newsletter and other avenues.
