The Beginning Farmer Center conducts programs for farmers who want to transition their farm business to the next generation or people who want to get into farming. Watch this short video on the next generation of farmers in Iowa.

The Agricultural Marketing Resource Center and Value-Added Agriculture program offer a multitude of resources for producers looking to market their crops and livestock. 

The Ag Decision Maker Web site provides agricultural economics and business news for producers to use in making management decisions.

Upcoming Iowa State University Extension and Outreach meetings will provide guidance for Iowa farmland owners and operators reviewing options under the Agricultural Act of 2014, commonly known as the Farm Bill. Farmland owners and operators must make decisions on base acre and yield updates along with choosing an Agriculture Risk Coverage or Price Loss Coverage commodity program.
