Emerald Ash Borer Confirmed in Clinton County, Iowa

Emerald Ash Borer has been positively identified in the city of Clinton, making this the 20th county in Iowa where this wood boring pest of ash trees has been found. EAB kills all ash tree species and is considered to be one of the most destructive tree pests ever seen in North America.

Borich to Retire from Community and Economic Development Extension and Outreach

Timothy O. Borich will be retiring as director of the ISU Extension and Outreach Community and Economic Development program, as well as associate dean for extension and outreach within the ISU College of Design, effective Sept. 3. He will remain at Iowa State part-time as an associate professor in the Department of Community and Regional Planning.
