ISU's Academic Information Technologies (AIT) has released a new set of documentation on coping with spam. The main page can be found here.

Documentation includes online videos as well as instructions for filtering spam on several different e-mail applications including Eudora and Webmail.

How Much Spam Does Iowa State Receive?

It is difficult to quantify the amount of spam Iowa State receives daily, partly due to the different number of ways in which people define spam. It is estimated that about 40 to 60 percent of the total volume of email that Iowa State receives each day qualifies as spam, using the broader definition of the term.
