Garwin Roughriders 4-H Club welcomes everyone to their Canvas Painting Party Saturday, October 22 from 1:00 to 3:00p.m. at the Garwin Community Building (in the park) This fun filled event is for those in 4-12th grade the cost is $25.00 per person which includes supplies and the instructor. The club will provide snacks and drinks.

Space is limited. Registration and payment is due by Friday, October 14 at the Tama County Extension Office 641-484-2703.

Statewide Resources

  • Provides opportunities for youth to develop skills they can use now and throughout their life, empowering them to reach their full potential working and learning in partnership with caring adults.

  • Statewide updates posted each Thursday afternoon by the State 4-H Office. Check it out every week to keep up-to-date on events, grants, forms, fair info, and fun!

  • Join a 4-H club where you can learn about your interests while having fun, improving your communication skills, and serving your community. These are resources to make your club experience even better.

  • Your adventure in 4-H starts here. Choose from nearly 50 project areas and discover your skills, talents and interests.

    Every June, 1000 teenagers converge on the Iowa State University campus for 3 days of speakers, workshops, mixers, dances, a banquet, and community service activities. If you've completed 8th-12th grade, you're eligible to attend. Non-4-H members are welcome.

  • Youth and teens can discover opportunities to be recognized for personal growth, project learning, leadership and citizenship. 

  • Clover Kids is a FUN 4-H program for children in kindergarten through third grade. Children participate in hands-on activities designed to build many life skills!
