   Introduction to geographic information systems, including discussions of GIS hardware, software, data structures, data acquisition, analytical techniques, and implementation procedures. Laboratory emphasizes practical applications and uses of GIS.

Computer Requirements: Windows 2000 or Windows XP (Home Edition and Professional); DSL or better Internet access

Note: May be applied toward Bachelor of Liberal Studies
