   A foundation course in agronomy emphasizing principles of plant, soil, and climate relationships in crop production. Goals: 1) To develop an understanding of the science and principles of agricultural crop production systems and the importance of crops to our society. 2) To develop a basic foundation for continued learning in agronomy courses and for agricultural related careers. 3) To develop an appreciation and knowledge of agro-ecology, environmental risks, and sustainability practices for crop agriculture.
