   Principles and practices of weed science, entomology, and plant pathology applied to crop production systems. Biology, ecology, and introductory principles of crop pest management.

Prerequisites: restricted to students in Iowa State graduate degree programs, Agron 114 (Fundamentals of Agronomy), Agron 501 (Crop Growth and Development), Biology 109 (Introductory Biology), Chemistry 163 (General Chemistry), Mathematics 140 (College Algebra); if not enrolled in MS in Agronomy, contact Dan Dobill, msagron@iastate.edu

Recommended Prerequisites: Agron 502 (Chemistry, Physics, and Biology of Soils) and 503 (Climate and Crop Growth)

Computer Requirements: Windows operating system, 200 Mhz processor, 64 Mb RAM, CD drive, graphics capable, sound card, and Internet connection

Note: May be applied toward Master of Agriculture, Master of Science in Agronomy
