It will get started on Sunday, February 19 at 2 pm at First United Methodist Church.  4-H staff and volunteers will introduce 4-H and activities to families.  The annual 4-H youth development fee for brand new members of this brand new club this program year is being sponsored by the Story County 4-H Foundation this year.

The local attendance site is the Story County Extension Office. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., and the course runs from 9 to 11 a.m. The registration fee is $35 on or before Feb. 21 and $45 after Feb. 21 including scheduled reshows. To register or to obtain additional information about the CIC, contact Katie Williams at the ISU Extension and Outreach office in Story County by phoning 515-382-6551.

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach – Story County will offer a QuickBooks for Farms and Businesses course to anyone interested in learning how to use QuickBooks for their business on Monday, March 13 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. The program will be presented at the Story County Extension and Outreach Office at 220 H Ave in Nevada.

The February 21 class is full.

Money Talk: A Financial Course for Women,” will be offered in Ames beginning Thursday March 23, sponsored by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. The series will continue weekly through April 27, 6:30-8:30 p.m., with no session scheduled for April 13.
