May 20, 2013

There will be a Babysitting Basics Class on Friday, June 28th  at the ISU-Story County Extension office located at 220 H Avenue in Nevada.  The class begins at 8:30 am and ends at 4:30 pm. The class is open to 5th and 6th graders who are interested in becoming babysitters or becoming a more prepared and informed babysitter.  There is a $25.00 fee for materials and the deadline for signing up is June 21, 2013.

4-H’ers from Story, Boone, and Polk Counties participated in their first 4-H Culinary Club.  This brand new 4-H club meets monthly at the West Hy-Vee Club Room in Ames to learn kitchen basics, nutrition, and more!
