2nd Friday of each month. Group encourages family participation. Various projects, take educational trips, and workshops. Members participate in the communication contest. Past activities have included visiting the Butterfly Gardens, McFarland Park Night Hike and overnight camp at the State 4-H camp. Members have learned how to make cookies, weave baskets, make bee's wax candles, and much more. The group has volunteered at the Story County Animal Shelter and helped with Nevada Community Cupboard and Operation Military Kids. Clover Kids spend their meeting time either learning a life skill or making crafts in which they are encouraged to display them at the county fair. They also take part in the educational trips and participate in the communication contest.
