Target Audience: Grades 3-4

Description:

Welcome to TJ's world... a world full of music, fun and understanding. It's a world where youth feel safe talking about the things that are bothering them and where they learn to work things out.

Talking with TJ: Conflict Resolution prepares children to get along and get things done in a culturally diverse society by focusing on three specific skill areas: planning, cooperating and appreciating differences. The program helps children develop more cooperative and caring relationships with their peers. Children will learn to understand and communicate their own feelings and will develop the ability to recognize and respect the points of view of other people. Learning to get along and to get things done as a group is a vital part of a child's education.
