What is Clover Kids?

Clover Kids is a 4-H Program for youth in grades kindergarten through third grade. Clover Kids is fun and full of hands-on activities. The activities cover many different subject areas including aerospace, horticulture, arts, communication, environmental stewardship...and the list keeps growing. Clover Kid groups may meet for a short period of time, for instance meeting a couple times a week for a few weeks, or they may meet monthly or twice a month throughout the year. The variety and flexibility of the groups is large. There are several Clover Kid groups meeting in Story County and some Clover Kid groups are meeting as after school programs. We are always in need of volunteers, especially in the Ames area.

How can I join?

Any youth in grades kindergarten through third grade may join a Clover Kid group. To learn more about active groups in your area contact the Story County Extension Office at 515-382-6551 or email Nicole Bruce.
