ISU Extension & Outreach-Story County is currently seeking a Local Foods Coordinator. The Local Foods Coordinator position is a position created in partnership between ISU Extension and Outreach-Story County and Prairie Rivers of Iowa. The goal of the Local Foods Coordinator is to create and maintain a regional identity that promotes the local food system in Boone and Story Counties. Increase community awareness through educational and promotional marketing, economic and community development. Responsibilities fall into five main areas: Facilitation, Education, Marketing and Outreach, Funding, Data and Evaluation. Perform duties as determined by the Director as necessary.

ISU Extension and Outreach Story County 4-H Summer Intern
Duties include, but not limited to:
Assist 4-H AmeriCorps member with day camps
Chaperone Iowa 4-H Conference June 28-30
Assist with County Fair events July 15 and July 23-27
Work with the public, staff, volunteers, and youth
Required: Valid driver’s license, ability to pass criminal background check and experience with youth programs. Minimum: HS diploma. Submit detailed resume with complete work history and three (3) references.
