Have you ever wondered what it would be like to sleep near wild animals?  5th and 6th grade 4-H members from five counties (Boone, Greene, Hardin, Marshall & Story) are invited to participate in a campout at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, Nebraska on Friday, May 29th through Saturday, May 30th.

Tri-County Camp Planning meeting, March 30, 6-7:30 p.m. at the Boone County Extension Office.  4th-6th graders are invited to determine a theme, plan some theme-based activities, and decide on some meal plans. Tri-County Junior Camp will be August 5-7 at the Iowa 4-H Camping Center.

“Money Talk: A Financial Course for Women,” will be offered in Nevada beginning Thursday, March 19, sponsored by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach.   The series will continue weekly through April 23 (except Wednesday April 1, instead of Thursday, April 2), 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Story County ISU Extension and Outreach is offering a one-day camp, An Alarming Idea, on Wednesday, March 18th  for youth who are currently in 4th-6th grade. The day camp will get youth involved in learning as they discover how engineers work with electricity, circuits, and the science behind designing alarm systems.
