07/05/2008- Ask a Master Gardener at Farmer's Market
The Mahaska County Master Gardeners will have their "Ask A Master Gardener" table at the Mahaska Ruritians Farmers Market, Oskaloosa. They will be in the ISU Extension tent with the children's activities.

07/06/2008- Muscatine County 4-H Horse Show
Dates for the Muscatine County 4-H Horse Show season are June 1 (this date has been changed), July 6, August 24, and September 14. All shows will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will be held at the Tom Martin Arena, Muscatine County Fairgrounds, West Liberty. All participants must wear a ASTM approved riding helmet.

07/07/2008- Muscatine County 4-H Clothing Project Style Show Judging
4-H'ers participating in the Clothing Project who have pre-registered will model their outfits to be judged. The Clothing Style Show and judging results will be announced on Thursday, July 17, in the 4-H Building at the Muscatine County Fair.

07/07/2008- Horticulture Activites at Seneca Senior Center
Suzette Striegel, Mahaska County Extension Horticulturist will lead clients in monthly horticulture activites

Digging Fossils & Amazing Mammals for 2nd and 3rd graders

07/07/2008- Summer Discovery Camp
For 3rd to 5th graders can participate in fun, hands-on activities. Including solar cooking, Go Green -reuse, recycle, reduce; making and eating tasty nutritious snacks plus science challenges.
