Iowa Storm, Tornado Victims Eligible for Disaster Relief - by Roger McEowen As a result of the severe storms, tornadoes, and flooding in May and June, the IRS has declared that certain taxpayers who live or conduct business in forty-eight counties in Iowa are eligible for specified tax relief.

A survey of more than 800 companies shows that 53 percent have been affected by the floods, according to Iowa State University Extension’s Center for Industrial Research and Service (CIRAS).
