Olympic Challenge Ends the 4-H GEAR Tech Robotics Camp

4-H Robotics Camp teaching kids about robots, computer programming, GPS and GIS

Seven youth started Monday with no robotics computer programming experience and ended the week successfully completing the  "Ro-lympic" challenge of a robot race, robot synchronized swimming and robot weight lifting.  Throughout the week they learned how to construct and program their robots; work as a team and communicate what they learned in their daily "showcase" event at the end of the day.  Youth from Orange City, Boyden, and Primghar participated.  Summer Extension Educator, Alissa Brady led the camp.
